PURPOSE:To provide a negative electrode material having high energy density, freedom from the occurrence of a dendrite, and long shelf life, regarding a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery containing lithium salt. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery having a positive electrode 7 with reversibility for charging and discharging processes, a nonaqueous electrolyte containing lithium and a negative electrode, the cross section thereof is so formed as to be spherical with two layers of concentric structure. In this case, a carbonaceous layer meeting the condition of (A) below is used as the outermost layer of the structure, while another carbonaceous layer meeting the condition of (B) below is used as a layer inscribed thereto as a negative electrode 8. (A) Spacing (d002) on a plane (002) is 3.37Angstrom , when measured with an X-ray wide angle diffraction method, while the size (Lc) of a crystallite in a C-axis direction is 300Angstrom , and (B) The spacing (d002) on the plane (002) is 3.60Angstrom , when measured with the same method, while the crystallite size (Lc) in a C-axis direction is 10Angstrom . |
