PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of an image forming system. CONSTITUTION:An image forming system 1 includes an image forming device 2 and a controller 3 which controls the device 2. The communication lines 4 and 13 are set between the device 2 and the controller 3 for communication of data and the reset signal respectively. The controller 3 contains a CPU 9 which transfers the data via the line 4 and sends the reset signal to the device 2 via the line 13. Meanwhile the device 2 contains a CPU 5 which transfers the data via the line 4 and switching circuit 7 resets the device 2 in response to the reset signal received from controller 3. |
