Cylindrical regenerator chamber as in P 1237150, has a support structure of several annular parts which can also be further sub-divided circumferantially. These are concentric with radial intermediate chambers and support one another reciporcally, and are readily adjustable. The support structure faces on the annular parts are concave, convex or plain and consoles are fitted to one of the coaxial units. The consoles engage with recesses in the other coaxial unit and are supported in the recesses in a way that enables them to slide and be adjusted. |
