1293241 Textile treatment apparatus VEPA AG 19 Jan 1970 [25 Jan 1969] 2484/70 Heading D1L A textile web is fed through sieve drum wash bowl 5, there being squeezing units 6 between these, and then through a dryer 7 also comprising sieve drums 8. The web is kept under tension whilst being dried. The web may next be fed through a padder, a predrying duct 12 with infrared heating rods 13 and fans 14 and through a sieve drum setting unit 17 via an oscillating roller compensator 16 which controls tension in the web. A further treatment, in apparatus similar to that used in the initial washing and drying may follow. The material may be wound up (as shown) after each set of treatment step, or be fed directly to the next treatment. |
