PURPOSE: To prevent the density loss before use and keep the color balance of a print in a good manner by forming a coloring matter layer of a specified composition containing an epoxide stabilizer or the like on the surface of a substrate of a coloring matter donor element used for a heat-sensitive coloring matter transfer device. CONSTITUTION: A coloring matter donor element is used for a heat-sensitive coloring matter transfer device. A print is formed of an image generated electronically by a color video camera in the heat-sensitive transfer device. In that case, the coloring matter donative body element is constituted of a specified coloring matter layer formed on the surface of a substrate. The specified coloring matter layer is composed of an image coloring matter in a polymer binder not to be transferred by heat, an infrared ray absorbing material and an epoxide stabilizer having approximately 25 wt.% or less amount of a binder and being separated from the binder are contained therein. The density loss before use is prevented and also the selective loss of coloring matter density in the case two coloring matters are in existence is prevented by keeping the print color balance in a good manner by the arrangement. |
