PURPOSE:To display data even in such a state that the supply of power is impossible by forming a display panel having a thermochromic material reversibly changing in transparency corresponding to temp. as a main material and fixing the transparency of the thermochromic material changed at the time of heating at the time of cooling. CONSTITUTION:A display device 10 is constituted by arranging a display panel 12 to the central part of a housing 11 and arranging a power supply switch 13, a mode switch 14 and a start key 15 to one side part of the housing 11 and arranging an erasing roller 17 pressing the surface of the display panel 12 to the other side part of the housing 11 in a reciprocally movable manner. The display panel 12 is constituted by successively laminating an Y-electrode layer 22, a heating element layer 23, an X-electrode layer 24, a reflecting layer 25, a thermochromic material layer 26 and a transparent protective layer 27 on the upper surface of a substrate 21. A pen 30 is pressed to and separated from the proper place of the display panel 12 to heat and cool the corresponding thermochromic material layer 26 to change the layer to be opaque and transparent to display a figure. |
