摘要 PURPOSE:To realize structure suitable for mass production and to reduce cost by orthogonally arranging plural stages of uni-directional enlarging film bodies obtained by arraying optical fibers at fixed pitch in a sheet state, bundling plural sheets, and specifying pitch between sheets. CONSTITUTION:Outgoing light from a plane light source 14 is transmitted through a liquid crystal panel 12, and formed into an unmagnified erect image by a rod lens plate 15. A picture element constituting the image of the liquid crystal panel 12 is enlarged and projected by a fiber block 16 after extending distances in X and Y directions by the unidirectional enlarging film body for enlargement in an X direction(X enlarging film body) 10 and a Y enlarging film body 11. The X enlarging film body 10 and the Y enlarging film body 11 obtained by bundling the plural optical fiber sheets where the optical fibers are arrayed at the fixed pitch in the sheet state and setting the pitch between sheets on a light outgoing side larger than the pitch on a light incident side are arranged in a state where they are orthogonally crossed with each other at plural stages. Therefore, the optical fiber is assembled in sheet units and a process is simplified.
