<p>Orange diazo dyes for dyeing synthetic polyesters, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, fast shades, esp. to heat-fixing and light, have the formula (I): (where R is 1-8 C alkyl, 3-7 C alkoxyalkyl or 2-6 C hydroxyalkyl). They are prepared by coupling diazotised p-aminoazo benzene with a cpd. of formula (II).</p> |
