In a writing machine (Fig. 1) comprising a main arm 12 for carrying a drawing-pen and a swivel arm (22) carrying a stylus, an internally screw-threaded pen mount 20 inserted perpendicularly through an opening in the main arm 12 is primed with an external shoulder 46 which abuts a horizontal shoulder 48 and a bottom flange 56 which abuts the underside of the main arm 12 adjacent the opening. An internal annular shoulder 44 in the mount 20 abuts a shoulder 38 of the pen when the same is screw-threaded into the mount. It is stated in the acknowledgment of prior art that it has been proposed to use a fixing means mechanically attached to the main arm for holding the drawing-pen in an internally threaded sleeve, wherein the sleeve and the pen are held in a perpendicular position to the main arm by magnetic means. |
