[Also in Division C2] Antibiotics A204I, A204II, mixtures thereof and their alkali metal, alkaline earth metal and basic nitrogen salts (see Division C2) have industrial, pharmaceutical, human and veterinary applications, for example they are active against coccidiosis in chickens, and may be mixed in their feed; and against microbial organisms and may be incorporated into disinfectant solutions for sterilizing around swimming pools and farm buildings. The compounds also exhibit activity against bean powdery, mildew and maize dwarf virus and may be combined with suitable carriers. |
