The posts, especially for marking of roads are made from high impact strength and weather resistant plastics. The outside shell of the post can have any kind of cross section. Longitudinal reinforcement ribs are fitted into this shell. This post is economically produced, and of low weight, and it can be reliably driven into the ground and does not require maintenance afterwards. The reinforcing ribs project out of the shell (1) at the lower end (6) and these ribs taper to a pointed tip (8). The end is slightly truncated, and on the flattened tip can be fitted a pointed tip (11) made from metal, and conical in shape. The upper end of the post is covered with a cap. |
