Starch additive compsn - for offset printing ink

Offset printing ink is improved by adding starch, Na silicate, cyclohexanone and a synthetic pref. Araldite 200 (RTM). Compsn. gives ease and speed of printing esp. on coated paper, rapid drying and elimination of powdering.
