Polyamide yarn supply cutter in circular knitting machines is formed by a rocker provided with one or two cutters on diametrally opposite sides of a hollow yarn disc shaft, the rocker which is mounted for oscillation about a transverse pin passed through the shaft being driven by a cam against the bias of a spring. Cutter has a rounded of edge to reduce wear.
