<p>A method for plugging defective heat exchanger tubes, esp. in sodium heat exchangers and fast breeder reactors, consists of introducing the plugs for sealing the tube-mouths at he tube-plates, by using a manipulator inside the heat exchanger; this pivots so that its axis is aligned with the tube, then pushes the plug into the tube opening.</p> |
