<p>Title cpd. of formula Cl3C-CCl2-CCl=N-CCl3 has fungitoxic props. and is esp. suitable as a soil-treatment agent and as a seed dressing; it also has insecticidal activity. It is prepd. by chlorinating (a) propylisocyanide dichloride (I), (b) partial chlorination products of (I) or (c) cpds. which give (I) or its partial chlorination products under the reaction conditions, at 5-270 degrees C until completion of formation of HCl.</p> |
