PURPOSE:To improve highly efficient electric discharging characteristic due to a negative electrode made of MmM5 hydrogen storage alloy, and to almost retain initial electric discharging capacity. CONSTITUTION:A hydrogen storage alloy electrode for battery comprises a hydrogen storage alloy, for which carbon powder is added to hydrogen storage alloy material metal powder of MmM5 having a crystal structure of CaCu5 type (Mm means misch metal, while M is at least two elements among Co, Mn, Al, and Fe being substituted for a part of Ni), which is then melted and solidified. |
