PURPOSE:To allow the user to freely select a displayed title signal and an audio signal to be outputted with respect to plural video images simultaneously displayed. CONSTITUTION:In the multiplexed video image television receiver displaying plural video images on the same display device by the picture-in-picture system or the picture-out-picture system, any of audio signals A1-A4 corresponding to video signals V1-V4 is selected by an audio signal selector switch 5 and outputted from a speaker. Furthermore, a title signal added to any of the plural video signals V1-V4 is separated by a CCD 11. A main video signal MAINB, a sub video signal SUB and a title signal CAL are superimposed by a YCJ12 and the result is displayed on a CRT. Thus, the user freely combines the title signal to be displayed and the audio signal to be outputted with respect to plural video images displayed simultaneously to attain diversified expression. |
