A magazine weft attachment for a warp knitting machine feeds the weft ends into the stitches on two parallel chains with grippers, but of unequal length. Between these is diagonally situated a further chain on which the yarn packages circulate and pass weft yarns first to the gripper on one chain, then to the other. On the needle side of the magazine chain is further wheel around which the chain passes, to give a triangular path. This means the yarn is gently drawn off at the beginning. |
