<p>The invention provides typewriting ribbons which comprise on a single, homogeneous support consisting of a synthetic polymer film a writing, inked part and a part suitable for correcting typing mistakes coated with a white, hiding composition. The support, preferably made of a polyester resin or of polypropylene, is preferably coated with a thin layer essentially consisting of a vinylidenic polymer. The hiding composition for correction contains essentially 75-98 percent b.w. of a pigment which is titanium bioxide having an oil index of between 30 and 60, 0.5-10 percent b.w. of a binder which is a rubber-like resin having a molecular weight over 2,000 and soluble in organic solvents, little percentages of a wetting agent.</p> |
