Copolymer contg. 75-99.5% of vinyl chloride, 5-20% of vinyl acetate or a neutral alkyl ester of a singly unsatd. aliphatic, mono-, di- or tricarboxylic acid, and 0.5-10% of a singly unsatd. aliphatic, mono-, di- or tricarboxylic acid or a partial alkyl ester thereof, is used as a binder between the glass fibres and a (co)polymer of vinyl chloride.
