<p>PURPOSE:To correctly extract a specific region of an object whose shape is very complicated as of the skin of the brain, in a specific region extracting method of a medical image, by using an image processing device or the like. CONSTITUTION:Making a processing starting point Pi of a point on the line connecting the known points S, E1, E2 on the CT image 10 displayed on the display unit of an image processing device, extraction treatment of image-- element data is carried out from this starting point Pi in the right-and-left and up-and-down directions for taking out the coordinates of the image-element data, thereby on the basis of the known points S, E1, E2 on the CT image 10 the points other than the above are extracted for extracting a specific region 12 inside the CT image 10. Thus, correct extraction in a specific region of an object whose shape is very complicated as of the skin 12 of the brain can be carried out.</p> |
