摘要 <p>Ni and Co based alloys with high strength at elevated temps. can be made by using alloy nitride precipitation as the strengthening agent. All nitrides of these alloys withstand higher temps. before entering solution with the matrix. They are mfrd. by dissolution of a nitride master alloy e.g. CrN, under pressure of nitrogen, with the remaining alloying elements. Rapid cooling >103 degrees C/sec. by e.g. spraying is then utilised and the metals worked as powders. Typically comps. are (A) Ni base with 25% of one or all of Cr, Co, Fe or W, up to 10% Al; 15% Me+Nb+Ta+Re; 1.5% rare earths; 1% B and C; 5% Ti 6% Zr; 7% Hf and 3% N. (B) Co base - as above substituting Ni for Co; and only up to 5% P.</p>
