<p>1411787 Valves REED INTERNATIONAL Ltd 30 May 1973 [20 June 1972] 28787/72 Heading F2V A mixer tap for hot and cold water comprises a pair of manually operable valve units (Fig. 3, not shown) whose outlet ducts 8 connect with a central body unit 4 so that hot and cold water may pass through respective ducts 5, 6 of the body unit to channels 18, 19 which lead to passages (20, 21) of an outlet spout (3), (Fig. 2, not shown), the joining of the outlet ducts 8 to the ducts 5 or 6 being made by a spigot and socket connection. The tap may include metal welding rings 16 for dielectric welding of the connection. The valve units may be made of plastics material. The outlet spout may be rotatable.</p> |
