<p>A machine for dispensing packaged ice cream scoops is provided with a conveyor for moving the open-ended packages to a dispensing position adjacent an ejecting mechanism. The mechanism has a member which progressively moves through the package to eject the scoops usually one at a time. A cut-off device breaks adhesion between each ejected scoop and an adjoining scoop. The ejected scoop falls into a feeder wheel which directs it through a discharge opening. A control circuit is provided to operate the machine automatically once the circuit is energized by the closing of a manually operated switch.</p> |
