Each group of filter bags depends on a clean gas conduit extending through a vertical, horizontally movable support plate at its outer end and is supported for movement on a rail at its inner end. The lower end of the support plate is movable on a track once a locking mechanism has been de-activated. Manual strain is prevented and flow conditions in the filter housing are not impaired.
