<p>PURPOSE:To detect an abnormal air gap on the clip surface of a clip type convertor automatically when such a gap occurs outputting an alarm signal in order to warn the user of the abnormality thereof. CONSTITUTION:A pair of iron cores CR1 and CR2 made of magnetic materials are arranged in a ring shape, and a slip portion 1 is formed, using the clip surface S. The secondary winding N1, N2 and the tirtiary winding Ns are wound on to one or both of the iron cores CR1, CR2. This clip portion 1 is connected to a case 3 containing LPFF1, BPFF2, comparator C, transmitter O, indicator D and alarm indicator A by a code 4 the clip portion sneds a current in proportion to the measured current to the indicator D in a normal air gap state, and automatically detects an exciting current from the transmitter O by means of the comparator C if the abnormal air gap occurs on the clip surface, and transmits an alarm signal to display it on the alarm indicator A.</p> |
