PURPOSE:To raise mass-productivity of electron tubes as well as raise their Zeta potential by using Yttrium nitrate as a component of an electrodeposition liquid. CONSTITUTION:A getter film 2 containing an Yttrium compound is formed on the surface of the base material 1 made of a metal of a high melting point such as the end hut of magnetron. The getter film 2 is formed by an electrodeposition method using Yttrium nitrate as the component of an electrodeposition liquid, and the getter film 2 can be formed to a desired thickness uniformly.
