PURPOSE:To improve the production capability by automating the assembly frame insertion process in an electrode group constituent inserting unit which inserts electrode group constituents into an assembly frame used to assemble the electrode group of a mono-block cell. CONSTITUTION:Unit cell electrode group constituents are conveyed by a bucket conveyor 2 from a stacker which stacks a preset number of positive and negative electrodes holding separators between them. At this time, the unit cell electrode group constituents 1 are conveyed by two bucket conveyors 2, and negative electrode lugs 3 are fitted on both sides. Fingers 4 are lowered to clamp three groups on each side of the unit cell electrode group constituents thus conveyed. The fingers 4 on both sides A, B are moved in the arrow (b) direction, and when they reach directly above an assembly frame 6, they are lowered and the clamp is relased for insertion into the assembly frame 6, thereby the electrode group constituents composed of the unit cell electrode group constituents can be automatically inserted into the assembly frame. |
