PURPOSE:To easily prepare a document which satisfactorily develops the point of an argument. CONSTITUTION:A document file managing part 40 performs an editing operation for each sentence in a prescribed document based on information concerning the constitution of the point of the argument such as information showing the sentence is a topic representative sentence or not, for example, information showing the order of sentences in this prescribed document, information showing the relation of the topic representative sentence and other sentences excepting for the topic representative sentence and information showing a set composed of plural topic representative sentences and all the sentences related to these topic representative sentences. An editing control part 10 displays only the topic representative sentence on a display part 30 according to the order of sentences in the prescribed document, to which this sentence belongs, based on the stored contents of the document file managing part 40. When any sentence excepting for the topic representative sentence is selected, based on the stored contents of the document file managing part 40, the editing control part 10 displays the selected sentence and the topic representative sentences just before and behind this selected sentence on the display part 30. |
