PURPOSE:To reduce oscillation and noise and to facilitate crushing of sand by providing sand rammers to an oscillating body, placing a molding flask on the rammers and oscillating the flask. CONSTITUTION:A molding flask W is placed on a knock-out device, and shake- out machine 1 is started. The flask W oscillates vertically and laterally, and rammers 4 submerge into the sand in the flask W and shake the same, by which the sand in the flask W is disintegrated, cracked and crushed. The crushed sand falls around the knock-out device along a slope 2. When the sand falls virtually completely from the flask W, the flask W contacts directly with the top surface 3a of fines 3 and the knock-out operation is completed. The flask W and the fins 3 do not contact directly with each other in this stage and therefore the vibration and noise are less than by the conventional device and the time required for the crushing is reduced by half. |
