PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of a rigid trolley feeder for a subway or the like, by plating zinc on a trolley conductor of iron or steel and then fitting the conductor on an aluminum holder. CONSTITUTION:A rigid trolley conductor 1 is made of carbon steel or the like or preferably of stainless steel from a viewpoint of resistance to corrosion and wear and plated with a zinc layer 7 of 20-100mum in thickness by galvanizing, hot-dip coating or the like. The trolley conductor 1 is then secured with aluminum arms 9, 9 on an aluminum holder 8 by a bolt 10 and nuts 11. As a result, no maintenance is needed until the trolley conductor 1 is worn out. |
