PURPOSE:To accurately detect the collision on a communication line by allowing the collision detection section of a station to supervise the presence of a reception signal during transmission. CONSTITUTION:Signal supervisory devices 201, 202 supervise respectively signals of transmission and reception lines respectively, and when the signal exists, logical '1' is outputted and when no signal exists, logical '0' is outputted. The output of the signal supervisory devices 201, 202 is inputted to an AND element 203. Thus, only when the reception signal exists during transmission, the AND element 203 of a collision detection section outputs logic '1'. In such an example, the number of stations are assumed as 4, but the similar effect is obtained independently of the number of the stations. |
