PURPOSE:To improve the safety of conveying a carrier by confirming the normal operation of a sensor and then generating a command for starting the carrier. CONSTITUTION:A linear motor controller 3 confirms whether speed detecting sensors SN1-SN4 provided at stations ST1-STn and sensor SN5, SN6 for confriming the position of a carrier C normally operate or not. If the sensors SN normally operate, the controller sets the station controllers SC2-SCn-1 of the stations ST2-STn-1 to acceleration/deceleration mode and the station controller SCn of the station STn to stop mode. After the fact that the mode setting is normally performed is confirmed, the station controller of the station ST1 is set to starting mode to start the carrier C. |
