PURPOSE:To improve the processing accuracy at a processing starting point by automatically inserting an overlapping path between a approaching starting point and a retracting completing point in a device. CONSTITUTION:As the actual processing path of tool center, the sequence of an approaching starting point 21 a path 24 at the time of a transient condition a path 22 a path 23 of the transient condition a cutting starting point 5a an overlapping path 40 a path 50 the overlapping path 40 a cutting completing point 5b the path 33 of the transient condition a path 32 a path 34 at the time of the transient condition a retracting completing point 31 is obtained, and the processing path comes to be the path including the overlapping path 40. In such a case, the cutting starting point 5a and the cutting completing point 5b are separated only by an overlapping quantity (h), they are overlapped and cut at the overlapping path 40 part, thereby, being able to delete projections A and B of the cutting starting point and the cutting completing point.
