<p>PURPOSE:To provide a refrigerator for a vehicle reducing a load against a vehicle mounted battery by a method wherein a secondary cell charged by a solar cell is applied as a power supply to feed electricity to a thermoelectric element when an engine is stopped. CONSTITUTION:In a refrigerator for a vehicle for cooling an inside part of the refrigerator in which a thermoelectric element 34 is electrically energized with electrical current supplied from a vehicle mounted battery, a secondary cell 6 is always charged with a solar cell 38. When an engine of a vehicle is operated, a power supplying changing-over switch is turned off, the thermoelectric element 34 is supplied with electrical power from the vehicle mounted battery and when the engin is stopped, the power supplying changing-over switch is turned on and the thermoelectric element 34 is energized from the secondary cell 6.</p> |
