A boxlike casing made of insulating synthetic resin has an opening formed at an upper face and a metal plate insert moulded at a bottom face such that the metal plate functions as fixed contact. The metal plate is formed with two extended portions projecting out of the casing. One extended portion is bent so as to project out of said casing to define a connecting terminal, and the second portion is bent so as to secure the plate to the casing, thus defining a retaining leg. A movable contact member is in sliding contact with the fixed contact, and a plate covering the opening of the casing has a through-hole formed within it.
