The device prevents illegal action, e.g., detachment, attachment, and fabrication, to a vehicle number plate by means of a high tension spring. The device comprises a support bolt (1) having a handle with a semilunar shape head moving in one direction, a partly-bored washer (3) in order to fit the partly-chipped support bolt (1), a spiral spring (5) having a projection (7) and a stopper (6) to joint a spring holder of the washer (3), a nut having an easily moving handle (9) in one direction and a slant ratchet oriented in one direction.
