The present invention brings together various items of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment to form an assembly which, when mounted on a vehicle with a heat engine, makes it possible to keep it or bring it into optimum conditions for starting and comfort for the user. This assembly, connected to the 220 V mains by an easy-to-use cable, supplies various resistors intended to keep the engine and the passenger compartment of the vehicle under ideal conditions. By means of a rectifier transformer, it supplies the onboard circuit for the operation of various items of equipment and for keeping the battery charged. It can allow the heavy goods vehicles on which it may be mounted to be made self-contained.
