PURPOSE:To obtain a molded item without giving any effect to a skin and at the same time contrive to prevent molds from becoming complicated and manufacturing processes from increasing by a method wherein the skin is shaped along the shape of one mold cavity by a shaping body projecting from the other mold cavity at the closing of molds and synthetic resin is introduced in a cavity under the state just mentioned above for molding. CONSTITUTION:Under the state that molds are opened, a skin 21 is set onto the surface of, for example, a mold 1 by pasting. Next, a mold 2 is shifted towards the mold 1 for mold closing. At this time, by making a shaping body 8 project above a cavity surface 6 through the feeding of working pressure to a cylinder 11, the skin 21 is pushed in the mold 1 so as to be shaped along the cavity surface 4. After that, by closing both the molds completely, the peripheral edge part of the skin 21 is pinched by the molds. Next, after the completion of mold closing, the shaping body 8 is retracted from the interior of the cavity 3. Further, an injection nozzle 31 is joined to a sprue 5 and, after that, molten thermoplastic resin 32 is injected and filled in the cavity 3, which locates on the back side of the skin 21. |
