PURPOSE:To seek to stabilize discharge characteristics by applying gold plating to the inner face of a metallic case or the outer face of a positive electrode ring or these both faces contacting with each other. CONSTITUTION:Gold plating 8 is applied to the face contacting with the inner face of the metallic case 2 of a positive electrode ring 7 having L letter-shaped cross section, or gold plating 8 is applied to the inner face of the metallic case 2, or the gold plating is applied to both of them. Hereby, it can restrain dispersion of contact resistance, especially between the positive electrode 7 and the metallic case 2, inside the battery caused by loosening of tightness in the longitudinal direction inside the battery which arises as the discharge advances. Accordingly, it can stabilize the discharge. |
