PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having sufficiently good electrophotographic characteristics by constituting a photoconductive layer to be laminated on an electroconductive substrate of a halogenated polycarbonate resin or a compsn. contg. a halogenated polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer to be laminated on an electroconductive substrate consists of a halogenated polycarbonate resin expressed by the formula I or a compsn. contg. said halogenated polycarbonate resin. In the formula I, R may have a halogen-substituted phenyl group. Sufficiently good electrophotographic characteristics are obtd. when a halogenated polycarbonate resin as binder resin and at least one kind of hydrazone compd. expressed by the formula II are used in a charge transfer layer. High productivity is obtd. due to extremely high stability of coating soln. for forming a charge transfer layer without causing quality change against lapse of time. In the formula II, R1 is a methyl or phenyl group, etc.; each R2 and R3 is H, methoxy group, etc.; R4 is methoxy or ethoxy group, etc. |
