Several electron gun assemblies are received in necks and a number of deflection units are mounted around the funnels respectively. A screen is formed on an inner surface of the faceplate and has a number of continuous segment regions each of which scanned with the electron beams emitted from the corresponding electron gun assembly and deflected by the corresponding electron gun assembly and deflected by the corresponding deflection unit. A shadow mask is supported in the panel so as to face the faceplate. The electron gun assemblies adjacent each other are arranged so as to have a relative distance between the central axis.
