PURPOSE:To reproduce characteristics of a pick, a hammer, etc., faithfully by providing a loop circuit including delay elements corresponding to the time of reciprocation of the vibration in a sounding body and inputting a signal corresponding to excited vibration that an operation element gives to the sounding body to the loop circuit. CONSTITUTION:The delay circuits 1 and 5 having the delay time corresponding to the reciprocation period of reciprocal propagation of vibration in the sounding body are provided in the loop circuit 8. Further, an exciting circuit 14 is controlled with signals VP and F of an excitation control circuit 15 to supply the loop circuit 8 with a signal corresponding to the excited vibration that the sounding body operation element gives to the sounding body. Adders 9 and 10, a multiplier 11, a ROM 12, and a multiplier 13 simulate the operation of the pick, hammer, etc., on strings at the time of string rubbing. Thus, a stringed musical instrument sound wherein the influence of characteristics of a physical system, which supplies excited vibration to the pick, hammer, string, etc., upon a musical sound is reproduced faithfully can be synthesized. |
