<p>PURPOSE:To rapidly specify the position of a cursor by changing the moving speed of the cursor in accordance with the moving speed of a position input device, and simultaneously changing the changing rate of the moving speed in accordance with the moving speed of the position input device. CONSTITUTION:The moving speed of the cursor is determined by the moving speed and moving acceleration of the position input device. Namely, the reference moving speed of the cursor is determined from the moving speed of the position input device and a reference function at first, then a value obtained by multiplying the reference moving speed of the cursor by a multiplying factor set up correspondingly to a stage including the moving acceleration of the position input device at that point is set up as the final moving speed of the cursor. Thereby, the sensuous moving speed of the cursor is determined by the synergetic effect between the moving speed and moving acceleration of the position input device. Thus, the position of the cursor can rapidly be specified.</p> |
