MAP PREPARATION SYSTEM FOR DOCUMENT PREPARING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve efficiency for map preparation processing as a result by simplifying input operations at the time of rotating map information based on any prescribed azimuth. CONSTITUTION:A control part (CPU) 1 displays an azimuth mark for showing the azimuth of a map on the screen of a display part 4 together with the prepared map information. When rotating the map information with the azimuth based on this azimuth mark as a reference, a rotating direction and a rotating angle are instructed. Based on these rotating direction and rotating angle, the CPU 1 executes the rotation processing of the map information within a set range. The CPU 1 displays the rotated map information on the screen of the display part 4 together with the rotated azimuth mark.
