PURPOSE:To obtain good printability and excellent printing preserbility by forming an image receiving layer from an aqueous solution of dispersion of a dyeable resin and a coating solution containing a carboxy modified silicone compound and a polyfunctional adiridine derivative compound. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble or water-dispersible dyeable resin is used in the image receiving layer formed on a support for the purpose of receiving the dye transferred from a colorant transfer sheet by heat and, as a crosslinking agent used for the purpose of improving the preservability of a recording image and a release agent used for the purpose of preventing the heat fusion with the colorant transfer sheet at the time of recording, a polyfunctional adiridine derivative compound and a carboxy modified silicone compound are respectively used selectively. As the water-soluble or water-dispersible resin, a thermoplastic resin is pref. used and, since this resin has an unsaturated carbonyl group such as an isocyanate ester group or a ketene group and a functional group such as a hydroxyl group, a mercapto group or primary or secondary amine in its molecule and can be crosslinked using the polyfunctional adiridine derivative, the preservability of printing is enhanced and the humidity resistance of a recording medium is improved. |
