<p>PURPOSE:To automatically detect a leaving state of an article on a touch panel by outputting a message to a display part when the elapsed time of an input to the same position on the touch panel part exceeds a set time. CONSTITUTION:The touch panel 32 informs detected input coordinates to a control part 34 and a timer 36 is driven for a fixed time by the control part 34. After the lapse of a fixed time when the driven timer 36 is not cleared, time-out is decided and the time-out information is informed to the control part 34. At the time of receiving the time-out information from the timer 36, the control part 34 outputs a message 'Remove the article on the panel.' e.g. to a CRT 30.</p> |
