PURPOSE:To produce desired refractory powder, remarkably improved in any of sticking properties, adhesion and amount of corrosion as compared with those of conventional refractory powder in use as a repairing material for a converter, etc., at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:This refractory powder for flame spraying is characterized by comprising a refractory material prepared by mixing one of sintered magnesia clinker with electrofused magnesia clinker, sintered spinel, dolomite clinker, lime clinker, alumina, chromite and chamotte or a combination thereof with shale or perlite. |
