PURPOSE:To send exactly picture data, to prevent disturbance to other data during transmission and reception of disturbance from other data and to warrant ciphering performance. CONSTITUTION:Picture data 1 at a sender side are compressed by a discrete cosine transformation section (DCT) in a transmission compression section 2, compressed data are modulated by a spread spectrum (SS) modulation section 3 and the modulated data are sent to a receiver side. A reception signal at a receiver side is demodulated into compression data by a spread spectrum demodulation section 4 and the compression data are demodulated by a picture demodulation section 5 and expanded into the original picture 6. |
