CONSTITUTION:The receiver is provided with a BS reception section 11 receiving a satellite broadcast, a bit stream output terminal T4, an FM detection output terminal T2, an AFC input terminal T3, a composite video input terminal T5, an S video image input terminal T6, a Y/C separator circuit 12 receiving a composite video signal from the composite video input terminal T5 and separating the signal into a luminance signal and a chrominance signal, and a display processing section 13 processing the separated video signal or the S video signal inputted from the S video image input terminal T6, and also with a MUSE signal detection section 15 discriminating whether the satellite broadcast received by the BS reception section 11 is an NTSC broadcast or a MUSE broadcast, and a changeover section 14 receiving the video signal subject to Y/C separation by the Y/C separation circuit 12 and the S video signal from the S video input terminal T6 and selecting either of them and outputting the selected signal based on a detection signal from the MUSE signal detection section 15. |
